4 types of Safe Alternatives to the 4 types of Toxic Cookwares

ATTENTION TO ALL!!

Heavy metal poisoning has a disastrous impact on our health!!!

I was the victim of aluminum poisoning and if you are a fan of atruebee, perhaps you would have already known the fact that I’m a big C survivor – with the diagnosis of Burkitt’s lymphoma (white blood cell cancer) and a brain tumor in 2014.

So, what is “aluminum” got to do with my diagnosis? It’s said that this heavy metal – aluminum affects the central nervous system (the brain) and causes the mutation of the blood system.  Hmm… sounds like somewhat corresponding to my condition? Nobody knows whether there’s any direct link since there is no exact evidence, but what say you?

Yes, i know many of us turn to healthy lifestyle eating organic food, more fruits and veggie in our diet, plus reduced salt and sugar intake, GOOOOD but that is strictly not sufficient!!

One question, what pots or pans do you use to cook your healthy food? What are they made up of? Do you know that  your cookwares play a vital role in your well-being?!! Even if you have the perfect and the healthiest diet routine with a wrong pot is detrimental!

Bear in mind – Heavy metals are released at high temperatures. When we cook, definitely there will be heat released, even worse off, if you use aluminum foil to wrap your fish during BBQ under the scorching fire, i just couldn’t imagine the outcome!

Better be safe than sorry,

better prevent than cure!

as Prevention is the best medicine!!

So it’s crucial to take this seriously! Follow this video to understand more in depth about the various pots in the market, and pick your best choice! Share it with your friends and family if you think this piece of information is useful to you and your loved ones!!

In short,

Don’t play play, heavy metal poisoning can be deadly, and if my brain tumor was not removed on time, I would not be here writing this piece of advise!

Please dump all your Teflon, Copper and Aluminum and ceramic coated cookwares right away! Invest in a better and safer cooking equipment for you and your next generation! Your life is in your hands! Save yourself, save the next generation!

Take a look at this video, with more scientific evidence of how heavy metals can affect you! And make the correct decision for the choice of your cookwares!

Stay healthier, happier and best of luck in 2019!

This Chinese New Year marks a new beginning of a new chapter in my life after a turn of unfortunate events. The past eight months strike me now as little more than a passing dream. Sifting through memories that are still vivid in my mind seems more like reading someone else’s personal history, sounding so absurd and improbable that something like this could actually happen right on me. I will carry on with my writing spree shortly after this Chinese New Year post.
The low-key Chinese New Year celebration this year together with my family and friends were mostly home-based, having pot lucks and home prepared food for our VIP guests. I didn’t go house hopping seeking for angpaos as my immune system is lowered, still vulnerable to infections. Unlike the past few years traveling abroad, munching new year cookies and tossing yeesang, this time around I mainly relied on mum’s healthy cooking, brothers’ home-cooked special dishes for our special guests, fruity “yeesang” and few bites of healthy cookies.

Being consistently under my doctor’s review with blood counts monitored, I kept bugging my doctor about the primary and secondary school gathering happening in February, as crowded places are a definite no-no for me. The first week after my close to one month’s inpatient stay, my blood counts improved slightly, still far from hitting the normal range, my doctor did not give any assurance nor did he say I’m not allowed to attend, gave me another week’s time to reexamine my counts. It was the same old answer to my initial question during the second week, so I gave up on asking for the following visit. Surprisingly, on my third follow up, my counts surged tremendously upwards, nearing the normal threshold, an excellent improvement worth celebrating! He was the one who brought up the gathering topic, granting me the golden permission to attend!

I recalled in one of my follow ups, I simply asked my adorable and admirable doctor, since my blood counts are progressing very well, can I eat yeesang? (Knowing that I’m not allowed to eat raw food). His reply wasn’t a straight forward “no”, but he uttered the word “cooked”! Haha, which means I can eat cooked yeesang! However, I didn’t cook my raw salmon in the yeesang dish, but had a specially formulated and crafted dish, made of all allowable fresh fruits – my favorite sour mango, green apple, green pear, guava, pomelo, orange with honey, lemon and passion fruit sauce, thinly sliced with all skins peeled! Sounds sourish, but I like it that way!
